From keyboard and cello to clarinet and flute - a children's orchestra is hitting the right note. The Bridgnorth Stompers are made up of children from schools in and around the Bridgnorth district. The group is open to any child in full-time education and welcome children of any standard who play any instrument, Led by local musician and teacher Karen Kirkland from Shropshire Music Service, they perform all over Shropshire and help raise money for charities. Karen Kirkland said "As an orchestra, we have performed all around the county. We regularly perform at the Shropshire Music Service Gala concerts. We have performed in the Shrewsbury quarry bandstand, the Shrewsbury food festival and the Theatre Severn.
