This event, organised by Shropshire Music Service, 12th, 13th, 14th July, involved children from primary schools across Shropshire in a series of concerts at the West Mid Showground, Shrewsbury. Instead of performing as individual schools, hundreds of children stood side by side singing as one huge choir.The event is over three days with KS1 and KS2 children. Over 20 schools were involved with students from Oswestry, Ludlow, Bridgnorth and Shrewsbury. It's always a big part of the singing year for the music service, and this year was better than ever. The songs have gone down really well, parents and children have both really enjoyed it. The KS1 event for children aged five to seven, performed 12 new songs especially composed for the event by composer Karen Kirkland.
